A family trade, made accountable.
Araamya is a merchant house built on three decades of family textile trade, registered in the United Kingdom and rooted in India's cotton. This page is the part we usually say across a table.
Our story
Textiles are the family trade. For three decades the family has imported and exported cloth across borders, learning the unglamorous truths of the business: that a promise made over a swatch has to survive spinning, knitting, dyeing, cutting, a container and a customs desk before it reaches a shelf.
Araamya was founded to make that promise hold every time. We registered Nexa Setu Ltd in the United Kingdom, kept sourcing where the family knows it best (India's cotton belt) and built one accountable line from fibre to floor: honest specification, partner mills we can stand behind, inspection on every run, and freight and customs handled to wherever you sell.
The name says the intent. Araamya comes from araam, the Sanskrit word for comfort and ease: the ease we owe the buyer, and the ease our goods owe the person who ends up holding them.
A note from the founder
“My family has traded textiles for three decades. Araamya is where that inheritance meets one simple promise: the fabric you're shown is the fabric you receive.”
Mission
To make premium cotton dependable for the brands and buyers who build on it: matching mill-grade fabric to real specifications, and standing behind every metre from fibre to freight, anywhere in the world. We'd rather move slower and be trusted than move fast and be doubted.
